Troubleshooting
If you're having issues with your LED light strips, first try the steps on this page which we've seen with other customers that have reported problems.
We test each and every product before it gets packaged up, but sometimes things can happen during transit.
1. Lights Don't Turn On At All
- Check that the outlet is working.
- Unplug the power adapter and plug it back in, make sure the plug is tightly connected
- Try turning the lights on with the remote and the app.
- Is the light lit on the power supply?
- Make sure the plastic tab is removed from the bottom battery area of the remote
- If you're using a connector kit, make sure the + and - signs are correctly aligned.
- Check that the arrows are aligned on ALL connections
2. Lights Are Dim or Flickering
- Check all connections, try unplugging each connection and re-connecting.
- If you're using a connector kit adapter or you cut your lights, try re-connecting those again. The connections must be tight with any of the connector kit connectors.
3. Lights Are Showing The Wrong or Opposite Colors
- If you're using a connector kit, make sure the + and - signs are correctly aligned.
- Check all connection points - many times a loose connection will cause lights to show up different colors.
